Privacy Policy
Last updated for this product release.
This Privacy Policy explains how EtsiaShopee processes personal data for platform accounts, billing, and operation of merchant stores. Merchant storefronts may publish their own privacy notices for shoppers.
Data we process
We process account details (such as email and shop name), technical logs needed to run and secure the service, billing records for subscriptions and module purchases, and — inside each merchant store — catalog, customer, and order data you or your shoppers provide.
Why we process it
We use this data to create and run your store, authenticate users, enforce entitlements, process platform billing, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Shopper data on a merchant storefront is processed to fulfill orders and operate that merchant’s shop.
Sharing and processors
We use infrastructure and payment processors (for example hosting and Razorpay for India-first SaaS billing) only as needed to deliver the service. We do not sell personal data. Tenant commerce data stays in the merchant’s isolated store database except where a processor must receive it to complete a payment or delivery you configure.
Retention and security
We retain account and billing records as long as the account is active and as required for audits or law. Security includes access controls, tenancy isolation, and operational logging. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; report suspected incidents to the platform contact.
Your choices
You may update account details in admin, request access or deletion where applicable law requires, and close a store subject to outstanding billing. Shoppers should contact the merchant whose store they used for storefront privacy requests.
Contact and updates
Privacy questions for the EtsiaShopee platform should use the contact published on the marketing site. We may update this Policy; the version on this page is the current one.
